"Myrtle Beach Daaayys, we'll have some fun in the waaaves...."

I am going to the beach with some of my college girlfriends this weekend, and I know we are going to have such a great time. I am going to miss my baby though, even though it is a good idea to have me time I guess. It is hard to make friends like those college friends. I guess it's because we were all so young, and we went through alot of growing up together. Not to mention all the other things we went through together: Wine, Beer, "Drink and Drown" Wednesdays at Mother Fletchers in Blowing Rock, and then driving back to Boone at 2 am in the morning! I am sure we must have all had Angels watching over us, since we are all still here. Those sure were fun days!

Some of my favorite ASU girls!
Ok this is week two of using the eyelash growth factor. I swear they are longer! You have no idea how excited this makes me.:)
A funny picture of Will - we were all taking pictures of our eyelashes, and of course his are the longest. Both Jeff and Will have the long lashes. I on the other hand, am using the eyelash growth factor so I can catch up to them!!

Will is in his 4th week of 2nd grade, and has settled in I think. He is about to begin his journey as a Boy Scout this week. (Well, he doesnt know it yet, but Jeff and I are crossing our fingers it goes over.)  He will actually be a " wolf ". I am really excited. Boy Scouts is such a great way for kids to learn respect, honor and compassion, etc. Plus he will get to have some Dad time.

Trying a new eyelash growth product

This is without mascara week 1
OMG I am WRINKLY!! I had no idea Maybe need more that eyelash stuff

So I am trying this new eyelash growth factor from Pure Science. This is my first week. I know it works because my neighbor has been using it for a month or so and her eyelashes are rediculously long! I cant wait to see the results. I have never had long eyelashes-excited to see what I am going to look like!  This stuff is made with all plant derived ingredients and no animal testing, which is important to me. Also doesnt have side effects that are possible with Latisse, like changing your eye color (huh? who would risk that?) or giving you red or dark lines around your eyelids.  So, the waiting begins......

PICTURES FROM OUR SUMMER BREAK

Will on 4th of July

THE BEGINNING!

Well, here is my first family blog. This is the last week of summer vacation and Will is sick. He has had a fever for 5 days! I took him to the Dr. yesterday, no strep, but probably viral. He seems like he feels better today, but hasnt really eaten anything in 4 days. So he has lost a few pounds , which he can't afford to do much longer! Poor baby.

We have had a really good summer. Will and I visited our friends in Georgia for 4 days at the beginning of June, we went to the pool alot, and Jeff, Will and I had a great visit to Wilmington/Wrightsville beach to visit my nephew Jay and his wife, Rachel.

Okay, so now I am going to try and figure out how to post some summer pix.....here we go.....
